BASELABS and TASS International have a partnership that will support the use of probabilistic sensor simulation models for PreScan. The PreScan software provides the simulation of vehicle sensors in complex traffic scenarios and is used both for the creation of control algorithms as well as for the creation of sensor concepts for assisted and automated driving.

The portfolio of PreScan sensor models is extended by BASELABS with probabilistic sensor models based on a statistical approach. These sensor models have a high level of realism while maintaining flexibility and adaptability of simulation-based validation strategies
