The tool suite of TASS International to test cooperative and automated vehicles has been described in an article from the German business website all-electronics.de. In December 2015 the article will also be published in the professional German magazine Automobil Elektronik.
The article is called "Development and testing of cooperative highly automated vehicles". It states that the complexity of testing of highly automated cooperative vehicles is still growing compared to the current vehicle development. Tests of different levels of integration at the component, system and vehicle level are necessary for the validation process of sensor-based advanced driver assistance systems. The vehicle itself determines the system boundary, for cooperative vehicles additional tests must be carried out and this requires special tools and methods.
