Under the brand name Delft-Tyre (www.delft-tyre.com), TASS provides the industry standard in tyre simulation models for vehicle dynamics applications. As a result of our success, we are looking to extend our team with a Lead Software Engineer to realize new functionality for the Delft-Tyre software suite. The role requires profound knowledge of C-language, Matlab/Simulink and Real-Time Systems, preferably combined with experience in the field of tyre modelling.
Together with the Delft-Tyre development team and in close collaboration with the Software Architect, you will be developing new features for the Delft-Tyre software suite.
You will take an active role in maintaining and improving our CI (Continuous Integration) framework to increase our capability of automated building, testing and packaging.
You will help to resolve customer support problems related to the Delft-Tyre software suite.
Required Background & Education:
Education level: MSc degree in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar.
Excellent control of the programming language C.
Skilled in Matlab/Simulink and its code generation capability in particular.
Proven experience with coding for Real-Time simulation systems such as dSPACE, Concurrent or National Instruments.
Experience in the field of Tyre modelling is a plus.
Knowledge and control of UML for architecture and design purposes is a plus.
Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) is a plus.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.
Experience with Agile Scrum is a plus.
