Product Architect PreScan

PreScan is a mature and wide-spread simulation platform for virtual development and validation of active safety and (Highly) Automated Driving systems. PreScan offers high-fidelity physics-based simulation models of all sensors relevant for automated driving (such as camera, radar, lidar, infrared, ultrasone and DSRC).

To strengthen our team, TASS International has an immediate opening for a Product Architect. Your main responsibility is to set the specifications and to define the design, architecture and user-acceptance tests for new developments in PreScan. Emphasis will be on the suite of physics based sensors, but the scope may be extended to other parts of the PreScan platform, new modules or even entirely new products. This is a key function within TASS International in which you will work in close cooperation with many different people, ranging from software engineers, software architects and senior technical experts to product management, project management and company staff. In order to be successful, you combine excellent technical skills and a clear technical track-record with good interpersonal skills and a sharp eye for business aspects.  

Required Background & Education:

  • MSc in Electronics, Physics or similar.
  • Minimum of 10 years of System Engineering experience in Automotive, Aerospace or similar domains.
  • Proven knowledge and track record in:
    • Electronics/ signal processing
    • Electromagnetic sensors (radar, wireless)
    • Electro-optical sensors (camera, lidar, infrared)
    • Computer graphics / ray-tracing
    • Simulation tools relevant to Automated Driving / ADAS
  • Keeps up with new trends in System Engineering and understands how to bring those into the organization.
  • Affinity with the automotive industry and automotive use-cases.
