For our software products PreScan and Delft-Tyre, there is an increased interest from the market to use these in real-time setups. These setups are typically used for real-time applications such as Hardware in the Loop (HiL) testing or driving simulation. To strengthen our team, we have an immediate opening for a software test engineer who focusses on testing and validation of TASS International’s real-time solutions.
Review product and system functional requirements and create test cases to ensure that overall quality is delivered.
Identify, analyze, and document all defects (software bugs) and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with product specifications.
Be responsible for the analysis, reporting and communication of test results on all assigned projects.
Assist in evaluating product and application defects reported by customers.
Create and maintain automated test cases and frameworks
Execute manual and automated test cases and scripts.
Document and validate resolution of identified issues and defects.
Required Background & Education:
Education level: Bachelor or Master degree.
Knowledge and working experience in software testing (>2 yrs).
Knowledge and working experience with issue management.
Knowledge and experience with test automation.
Knowledge of real-time systems and experience with real-time test methodologies.
Working both under Linux and Windows. Knowledge of real-time operating systems is a plus.
ISTQB/ISEB/TMAP (foundation) certified is a plus.
Knowledge and control of UML is a plus.
Working experience in the automotive market is a plus.
Knowledge of computer programming languages as well MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
